OpenCode.md published in newsletter of EU Open Source Observatory (OSOR).
In June 2023, it was announced that the OpenCode.md platform was launched in Moldova. This initiative from Diginet Pro SRL focuses on open source solutions that meet the requirements of “Digital Public Goods”.
Furthermore, the platform provides access to open content collections and open data.
One of the criteria for software to be included is that it must be Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). The platform provides a list of approved licences which uses OSI-approved licences for software, Creative Commons licences for open content, and a selection of licences for open data.
