Inteligența artificială (AI) este o tehnologie care îndeplinește funcții legate de cunoașterea umană, învățare, rezolvarea problemelor și creativitate.

Există diferite forme de IA, dar, în general, domeniul poate fi împărțit în două tipuri principale:

Învățarea automată este o ramură a inteligenței artificiale care ia decizii pe baza datelor furnizate. Această tehnologie colectează date caracteristice în legătură cu un anumit domeniu, apoi analizează sau evaluează datele primite.

Învățarea profundă este un subset al învățării automate care combină mai mulți algoritmi pentru a crea o așa-numită „rețea neuronală artificială” modelată după creierul uman, permițându-i să învețe și să tragă noi concluzii dincolo de datele furnizate inițial. Modelele de limbaj mari, cum ar fi GPT-3 și GPT-4, sunt un subtip de învățare profundă.
